New to the world of microcontrollers. Enjoyed assembling Pioneer and Explorer shields. Both tested and fully operational. Looking forward to getting into coding, expansion modules and future projects. Thanks Dr. Duino!!!

I am set up and ready to build. Can't wait to get it finished and see it working. Dr. Duino projects are easy to assemble with easy, clear, and understandable directions/instructions. Going to finish this one (Pioneer) then on to the Explorer and Expansion Pack next.

Got bot the Pioneer and Explorer bundled together to save some money, and, funny thing, they always send more parts than you need for each project, so you will have some leftovers when you finish following the directions...it's all good.

A great learning tool. Finished the Pioneer, working on the Explorer. Fun to put together and learn about.

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. After ordering the project, I went looking for my solder and couldn't find it. Had to order more supplies, so didn't get started until about a week ago. Have finished and tested the Pioneer board and all went just as expected. Today I finished up the Explorer board and was ready to test it, but then couldn't get to the IDE. My computer has gone through an unexpected reconfiguration and I have lost my ability to get things going. BTW, I am 81 and have been into electronics for about 70 years. Did maintenance and repair for about 50 of those years and 20 doing Main frame(Cobol, PL1, Assembly and Fortran) programing in the Insurance industry. So this project has been fun. I am also KC7PS and ham radio is also a hobby that I am into. I saw your add in QST and that is where I got your info. I have just ordered the expansion package, so will be doing much more learning. I have another Arduino project that is a QRP transceiver that is using a uno board along with a SI-5351 clock generator and a 16-2 display that I want to replace with a larger display to also add some new stuff in the radio. So, this is my background and interest in learning more about the programming for this and other projects. Thanks for putting this program together. I know I haven't seen anything close until just lately. I'm not conversant in this programing language, just need to take the time to learn more to get me able to work with these new innovations..... Thanks again Guido.

I appreciate Dr Duino for trying to make learning to use Arduino so easy. The kits that they offer are complete, the assembly instructions are clear, and the resources are helpful. Even though I came into these kits from my ham radio interest side, I am also a closet model railroader (meaning all my train gear is stowed away at the moment in a closet) and was intrigued to discover that Dr Duino is orienting their kits toward that hobby as well. This means that I may just have to accelerate my timetable for retrieving all my model RR gear!

I got the Pioneer/Explorer bundle. I was able to assemble both, despite minimal soldering experience. Instructions were quite clear. The Michael James mini-orientation was also excellent. I do wish there were more tips on "where do I go from here" and less promotion of "what do I buy next," but other options for that are available, the Dr Duino pricing is fair, and some concession must be made to the needs of a small business.

So far I've received the box, opened the box, looked at it briefly, set it on the bench, and it awaits completion of six other projects. Looks OK. Bill

Had a great time revamping my soldering skills and assembling the Explorer while looking forward to assembling the Pioneer. Great product fun to learn and put together

Parts came quickly and I'm in the middle of learning how to use everything.
